My name is Lucy Chapman, and I hope you have enjoyed browsing my selection of handcrafted felted knit pieces! Please check back often, as new items will be added regularly.

I taught myself to knit about 10 years ago. It wasn’t until about 3 years ago that I delved into the world of felted knit. My first project was a pair of slippers. The shape wasn’t right, the size wasn’t right, in fact, not much was right about them! But despite that, I have been hooked ever since! I love experimenting with yarns, colors, and shapes. I love wandering through aisles of yarn, feeling and smelling (yes smelling!) the yarn, imagining what the yarn might look like felted, or what I could make out of it. One of my favorite things about felted knit, is watching the transformation that happens when the knitted piece becomes felted fabric. It is different every time!
